On April 27, 2016, Shriners Hospitals for Children-Honolulu celebrated the expansion of its 17-room family center. Visiting dignitaries included, Dale Stauss, Shriners Hospitals for Children President and CEO; Chris Smith, Shriners International Deputy Imperial Potentate; Kirk Caldwell, City & County of Honolulu Mayor and James A. Wriston Jr., President of Friends of Shriners Hospitals-Honolulu. Patient Ambassadors, family and friends joined to celebrate this momentous occasion, recalling unforgettable memories of their experiences with Shriners Hospitals. The addition of 7 new rooms will provide more patients and families with the ability to remain together on campus while receiving life-changing pediatric care.
